Black Friday celebrated a record attendance of over 470 players! Paintball Sports Magazine had a front page post on their webpage, check out the article.
RISK recently finished with over 100 players attending this events first run. The feedback was so positive there may be more RISK style games in the future. Keep an eye on that Paintball Sports Magazine webpage for a full RISK article as well.

Field rules and briefing at 11:00AM, arrive early!
This is the biggest annual season starting game in the maritimes, with an attendance in the hundreds.
Make sure to arrive early and well prepared, rubber boots, extra socks and extra layers to keep warm are a good idea.
Details
Field fee: $10
Game format: Two hour and a half games starting at 11:30 with a break for lunch near 1:00PM
Paint: This is a field paint only event, paint must be purchased at the field. $20/500 $80/2000
Rentals: $10 for marker, mask and tank. Limited availability due to the large number of players, call ahead.

A raffle has been announced with top Tippmann and VForce gear as prizes. Find a Tippinator to purchase your tickets for a chance to win a Tippmann X7 E-Grip, Tippmann X7 Mech or a VForce Grill. Price: $5 - 1 ticket / $10 - 3 tickets / $20 - 8 tickets.

The Xball field is now closed for the season, but woodsball will continue to be played with weather permitting. Check the walk on thread to see whats going on that weekend.

Photos are now up from the first annual U16 paintball special event at Mersey Road, hosted by the Mersey Road Mercenaries. The photos can be found in the gallery and a reminder that the Halifax City Open is only 2 weeks away!
In other news, the second season of the Atlantic Woodsball League has finished with another great showing of competitive woodsball with the following standings.
Banshee Paintball has announced the newest installment of Warriors in the Woods. Changing from WWII battles to a Viking theme, shields will be introduced to freshen up the game play! More information can be found on their site and in our forum topic.
You can register at Banshee Paintball, or download the forms, fill them out and take them into the store to save time.
Event paint will be Nightmare, Victory and Empire Ramp at $20.00 per bag of 500.
WAR OF ATTRITION - AT KOKOMOS - SAT SEPT 13th

War of Attrition will be screening at Kokomos this September! Featuring footage from the 07' Season, this is a ballers night and the entire place is reserved just for this event.
Price: $10 (includes free drink), Food specials will be on all night
