Woods Ball League

I highly consider Mersery and surrounding feilds set up woods ball leagues fro team to compeat and defeat. I think it would be a great idea. Who eles goes with that idea?

thats what i do i pull out 5 people from the group, 2 snipes with apex's or flats one mid whitch is like any regular semi and then get some higher end markers up front

Sounds like a slap in the face with a leather glove challenge...It really wouldn't be a challange cuz "NO MERSEY" would well you know...kick you in your pants...lol...

It would be cool if each field had it's own 10 man team and each weekend there would be a skirmish at one field or another...

This sounds very good. Instead of people going out and finding teams to be on. Some one should round up every ones email who is inrested and make teams based on that. Or something in that manner. Since I know I would have troble find at least 3 freinds for a team.

we could go mersey vs ok and spikes vs bruces and then the winners of those play each other and we could donate the entrance money to charity or something

I would come out of my semi-retirement for that i think. hell an extra day at the sitter once in a while wont hurt too much.

I'm totaly serious about starting a woodsball team, but I can't do it alone. Give me a shout with any ideas.

I dont see a problem with .43 cal. paint and mines and stuff, in my opinion In real life everybody dosent have the same cal. ammo or mines and stuff. It would add an interesting part to it. It could also make ppl think and use there brains instead of fire power.

actually in real life there is the geniva convention. it restricts the use of mines in warfare i think... or is that something else.... either way mines arent used any more unless they were placed before the country signed. now be good little warriors and play by the rules.

Howdy, I can vouch for a team of ten that play together out at Grand Lake. As well, I'm sure Section 8 would be down as well, they don't frequent this forum but they play out at Grand Lake with us sometimes, and I can easily get in touch with them. So, that's two teams right there.

In all honesty you could run a fun tournament with 6 teams of 8-10, and have walk-on spares come out and join up with any team that was short a few people. Between Overkill, Mersey, and these 2 teams you're almost there. Convince Bruce's Storm kids to come out and you've got a woodsball tournament.

or maybe the league could go to random walkons or even something like OK's semi private saturdays, back to random walkons... the league could ask to be equally split up among 2 teams, so imnstead of random picking, lets say 10 people from the league went, then 5 would be on each team, instead of lets say 6-4
