i'm getting a 20"barrel and a ricohet for my gun (A-5) and i'm wanting to put some camo stuff on it. should i put gillie shreds or the meshy stuff OR just not put anything on at all?

the best advice i can give you is try what you want and pick what works best.
or, if you're absolutely made of money, ship it off to specops for their custom digi cammo paintjob.

the meshy stuff sucks in daylight... the light shines through it rendering it useless, which is why in real life it is only used if something is directly behind it to give the impression of camo...

burlap or anything light brown works good, dont use black, makes too much of an outline... in my opinion, unless you use a nice combination then dont use black.

Digicamo is really nice because its blended really well, some of the mixed, blotchy camo I find can either be too dark or too light.

i have so much cadpat in my basement it hurts your eyes to look at the floor... seriously.... maybe i should organize it...

only disadvantage with the ghille shreds is it gets caught on eveything and when you walk through brush it clings to it and pulls it loose and when the brush comes off it make all the bushes sway so u stick out.

I seen some real nice looking camo but it wouldnt be for woods ball. I think it was Carter or one of the people from OverKill but it was nice urban (white, grey and black) camo. I think it was on a Dm5 or Dm4.
