Team name decided! We are the NS Marksmen!

Hey all, im putting a scenario team together for the new year.

Our Goal: build teamwork and to attend the big and small scenario games around nova scotia.

Expectations: anyone interested is expected to be able to meet with the team at least once a month, a semi milsim setup (but not 100% required), and be willing and committed.

This is not a competitive team planning on playing in tournaments or the AWL, we are scenario only, but will play in tournys here and there :mrgreen:

This team is pretty much a recreational team, just wanna put a team of guys together so at when big games come up, we'll have a squad that will stick together and not run off like every WiW when the plan goes to crap at the sound of the whistle..

As for things like jerseys, maybe after everything starts rolling smoothly, dont wanna jump into it to fast. hehe.

edited first post a little but i'll add a little bit of an explaination here:

It is a rec team, my plan is to have a team that can go into a scenario game (IE: WiW) and not yell CHARGE and run off in random directions.. It wont be totally limited to scenario games if enough people feel like participating in a 3 man, 5man, 7man or whatever and enough people show interest, we can do that. But its not what we'll be all about.

The idea behind this is to build a kind of co-operation concept where all 7+ guys work together to get the job done, whatever that may be, whether it be totally elimination of the other side, or just capturing the flag.

By committed members i mean that i expect them to be able to meet up with everyone at least once a month at mersey. I will modify the schedual for meetings so that it can fit to everyone elses schedual the best i can so that noone misses out.

A semi-milsim setup would be great to anyone planning to join, so something like a lightly upp'd a5 with like a mag kit is sufficient. (tippmanns preferred but if you use something else, its all good)

The set up so far is:
4 riflemen
2 medics/ extra riflemen
1 heavy gunner (will sometimes sub 1 rifleman for a HG)
3 snipers

I might expand the roster if enough people show interest.

This is just in the planning stage right now, things can and will most likey change as this thing develops more.

Forgot to mention, even though you may sign up for rifleman, you'll might also be asked to play as a sniper or machine gunner if the situation calls for it.

Team uniforms will probably be parklands cadpat by default but any sort of dark camo will work, like woodland, canadian digital. No pink, red, light blue, lime green, etc... Some kind of recognizational jersey could be in the future if this sticks.

My bro could probly be a reserve, he will probly be thier with me at most big events. But i dont know if he wants to join, we usualy bring 3-7 people with use to big events, we had 4 for BotB, and 7 for QC. Thier not "dedicated" they play on the fair level, but not alot. Just to put this out there so you know Nop3.
